This 8-day trip lets you explore Bangkok in detail, with a focus on its many flavours, and a bike tour to take you ‘behind the scenes.’

Arrive in Bangkok and check into the COMO Metropolitan Hotel, designed for health and wellness with a fitness centre, swimming pool, and spa among its facilities. Then embark on a tour through some of Bangkok’s most impressive temples, including the Temple of the Golden Buddha, Wat Po, home to the Reclining Buddha, and lesser known Wat Benchamabopit, noteworthy in Thailand for being made from Italian marble.

Time to discover Bangkok through your taste buds on a Private Bangkok at night by Tuk Tuk tour. Meet local chefs and producers, trying Thai and Chinese delicacies from a wide variety of stalls, before crossing the Chao Phraya River to Rachawong pier. The following day, try your own hand at Thai cuisine at the Blue Elephant cooking school. Choose your own ingredients with the help of your instructor, and enjoy your creations when you’re done.

Ready to see a side of Bangkok largely unknown to tourists? Bike your way through a fresh market and visit the source of some of the unique flavours you’ve been enjoying. Then take a canal trip through southern Bangkok where the busy city seems a world away. Speaking of relaxation, your last two full days are at leisure. Explore some more of Bangkok, take a day trip out to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital, or simply relax.
